Registration
Registration for the Africa Crop Forum 2026 starts with registering an expression-of-interest. You should register if you wish to attend in person, attend selected live-sessions online or simply stay connected to the activities and outputs linked to the event.
In-person places are limited, with priority for invited African scientists, breeders, national partners, funders, early-career researchers and selected Cambridge or international collaborators.
Complete the expression if interest form before 16 August.
Join in-person
Participants who would like to travel to Abidjan and join the full Africa Crop Forum event.
For wider team members, collaborators, potential mentors or partners who may join selected sessions and stay connected to activities after the event.
Join online only
For people interested in contributing expertise, joining concept-note development, mentoring or connecting with the emerging project teams.

In-person places are limited and curated. Online participation may be available for wider project teams, mentors and collaborators where relevant.
Costs and Support
Registrants will be contacted to confirm their in-person participation and we will explain the available funding if they take up the offer. Please feel free to contact Christian (ccr30@cam.ac.uk) with any questions.
Costs

Event participation, meeting catering and core event costs will be covered for confirmed in-person participants.

Most participants should expect to cover travel from other project funds unless separate support has been agreed.

We will provide support and guidance after registration.

We can provide invitation letters and accomodation where needed for visa applications.

We will support you with local travel arrangements once you arrive in Abidjan.

The organising team reviews registrations and confirms in-person attendance, online-only attendance or information-only arrangements.

Confirmed in-person participants receive travel, visa and hotel guidance.

All registered participants will be connected to event pre-work, live event updates and event follow-up activities.

Participants may receive a short pre-work questionnaire to help match projects, mentors and funding routes.
